Life Renewed - Revised

Chapter Fourteen - Miracles, Inc.

"It looks like Regan and Jack are about ready," Andrei observed as they watched to make sure that Tommy, Roy, and their group were doing okay.

"Go for it," Johnny advised. "You know what to do, bro."

"But... I'm not a Clan officer?" Andrei protested.

"Says who?" CJ giggled.

"WHAT?" Andrei protested.

"Oh, Nigel ... !" Willy stated innocently.

"How may I assist," Nigel asked knowingly.

"Captain Andrei is out of uniform!" Willy giggled.

"Understood," Nigel replied as Andrei's face expressed his total shock.

"What?" Andrei gasped. "But ... but ... I didn't do anything!"

"Tell Rey that," Chad observed.

"Then ask the rest of our new brothers," CJ added.

"You're always the first person to reach out to support the new guys." Willy observed.

"So that's why you're the New Member Coordinator for our Division," Johnny finished with a grin.

"If you argue, we're telling Dad!" CJ and Chad added in unison.

"I'm in support of the decisions of the Clan officers," Nigel stated.

"So, just live with it, because you ain't giving me a choice?" Andrei groaned.

"No," Chad said seriously. "It means that you found your place, and we're showing you that we approve of what you're doing. You're not being left alone, we're telling you that we trust you to follow your instincts."

Rolling his eyes, Andrei shook his head. "Whatever! I guess I'll be right back."

As Andrei stood up and headed towards Jack and his family, the four officers exchanged satisfied smiles; their plot to include the first person that they saved apparently successful.

As Andrei joined the family, he opened with "Jack? Damon? How's it going?"

"Nobody told me little brother cuddles were so much fun!" Jack giggled.

"I never had a big brother before, are all big brothers as nice as Jack?" Damon asked.

Andrei smiled. "The good ones are, Damon; it sounds like you got one of the best with getting Jack."

"Uh-huh! Jack's the bestest!" Damon grinned, earning him a hug from Jack.

Andrei smiled at the pair, then turned to Dr. Frost. "Dr. Frost, your family is a victim of the will of a Higher Power. Are you and Tammy willing to accept Damon as the gift to your family that he is intended as?"

"We'd be failures as parents if we didn't accept Damon," Dr. Frost stated. "Tammy's already in contact with the Clan's construction corps thanks to Nigel's help. She's in the process of expanding what was Jack's room to accommodating both boys sharing the room, as they requested. Normally, I'd question that, but in their case I think it is going to be best for both of them."

Andrei nodded, "Do you understand that this will be forever, and that due to measures taken to ensure that both of them are at optimal health, they very well could still be youth decades into the future?"

"So that's what Jack was trying not to say," Dr. Frost smiled. "Who do Tammy and I need to talk to so that we can be there for the boys?"

"Dad, Doc Austin and Antonio can get with you on that," Andrei stated. "They specialize in biological work; the rest of us are more geared towards androids. Nigel's logging this, so they know I've given the approval."

"I'm still wrapping my head around someone less than half my age having the authority that you guys have," Dr. Frost admitted.

"Both Jack and Damon's got just as much authority as I do," Andrei grinned. "Don't be surprised when they order you to take on a patient; they have the responsibility to use any resource available to help others like they were helped."

"Thanks for the warning, something tells me life is about to get interesting."

"Talk with Dad; he's still recovering," Andrei advised. "As an officer of the AI Annex of Family Clan Short of the House of Surak of the planet Vulcan, I approve the adoption of Damon Frost by Dr. Charles Frost and Tammy Frost. All other claims of linage are hereby declared null and void. This placement is permanent and binding."

"Logged and approved," Justy announced over Andrei's commbadge.

"Enjoy your new family," Andrei giggled. "Don't worry, it'll grow sometime soon!"

Not giving Dr. Frost a chance to protest, Andrei turned to head over to where Chief Silverhawk was still talking with Regan and Tarak. Once he arrived, he waited patiently for the Chief to acknowledge him due to his status.

After a few seconds, Chief Silverhawk turned his face to Andrei. After a considering look, he said "The Spirit gave you tasks in the past to give you this future. Do not mistake tasks that were set for your growth to be indications of how things will always be."

Andrei thought it over, then asked "So when I saw that professor trying to kill Mitch, it was so him and his brothers could be found and saved?"

"That is a very good example," Chief Silverhawk replied. "Regan has explained 'Timmy's Law' to myself and his new brother. My Spirit tells me that past events are causing you to refuse something that would assist your growth. You must listen to your Spirit, not your head, to grow into that which you are destined to become."

"Thanks, Chief; I think I know what you're referencing, and now I understand what I should do." Andrei paused, then turned his head to the boys. "Tarak, while it won't change you now being Regan's brother, Dylan hasn't told anyone why you sought asylum with the Navajo Nation. You know now that we're not going to hold it against you, so could you tell me what led to you being here?"

Tarak snuggled tightly against Regan. Softly, he stated, "I saw my mother forcing my cousin to have sex with her while my father held him down. I think it was because he has a boyfriend. They didn't see me, so I ran away and Dylan found me."

Andrei became serious as he turned his head. "Chief Silverhawk; are you prepared to accept a third son who carries the blood of your youngest son, and possibly one who is bonded to him by the Spirit?"

Chief Silverhawk nodded. "If it is the wish of the Great Spirit, I will do so with honor."

Andrei nodded then stated "Pablito! Davie! I've got a job for you!"

"You rang?" both Pablito and Davie giggled as they appeared on either side of Andrei in full Angel form.

Andrei rolled his eyes, then stated "Pabs, I think that Tarak's former caregivers could benefit from one of your counseling sessions. If they survive it, turn them over to JJ. Davie; I think you need to check on Tarak's cousin, and possibly his boyfriend. They both have places here if needed, and I'm sure that JJ has some words if any of their parents were involved."

Davie grinned at Pablito. "You doing the Avenging Angel thing?"

"Hell yeah!" Pablito smirked. "Give me a heads-up if you want a hand with any adults!"

"You're on!" Davie replied as both vanished.

"I think there's about to be a few adults that will need to change their underwear shortly!" Andrei quipped. "Just so you know, that was two of the four Guardian Angels of the Clan; Tarak's former caregivers are about to have a very bad day."

"Is there a reason that you went straight to them?" Chief Silverhawk asked.

"I know that Dylan or any of his family would normally have reported it," Andrei explained. "Since they didn't, that means that it's something that's going to need more than one of us can do, which leaves kicking it Upstairs. If I was wrong, either Pablito or Davie would have said something; since they didn't, I think they just needed me to ask."

"Good guess!" Dylan giggled as he walked up. "I was blocked from even looking into it. I think there's more than what any of us knows, but I can't see it to tell you. It feels like a timeline freeze is happening; mattering on what Pabs and Davie find is going to determine what's next - we might even be at a Fixed Point."

"Don't ask, Dad," Regan giggled. "I really don't want to become Chief because Dilly drove you insane!"

"If what was foretold is in fact occurring," Chief Silverhawk replied, "the timing may be out of our hands."

"Nuh-uhhhh!" Regan stated, shaking his head. "If you're talking about the 'Chief with five souls' legend, even if it is true, we'll only advise you; there ain't no way I'm gonna try to be a Chief yet, and you're not sticking my brothers with it either!"

"Hey, that tickled!" Dylan laughed. "I just felt Regan forcing Destiny to change ... you're stuck, Chief; the guys are going to learn from your example, not by guessing. Regan, the Legend was sealed when all five of you bonded on Archnania. Since we're in a suspended Time progression loop, you had one chance to force Destiny into a new path, and you just did it."

"How is it that you can speak of things like this as if they are normal? Chief Silverhawk asked.

Dylan controlled his giggles enough to explain. "The Clan as a whole are parents to at least two of the five whom the Great Spirit has Ordained as the Masters of Fate. They can 'push' Fate in the right direction just by being there. I've felt it before when that has happened, and if I understand it right, they can cause a chain reaction by being there with someone who is then going to need to be present for someone else at the Time they need to make a decision. That means that even though I didn't do anything, just because I was here, you and Regan had the conversation that you just had, which allowed him to make the statement that changed things."

Pausing to let it settle in, Dylan then continued. "I learned about Legend verses Reality when Chance escorted the Archnanians into their current place in the Universe. Legends are instructions to prepare, the Actions that need to happen do not have to match what was passed down, since there are a lot of things that change over Time. Archnania is what it is today because Chance listened to his Heart, not his Lessons."

The Chief nodded. "In the past, forcing of leadership on those not fully prepared has generally had less-than-positive results. With your input, I see where blindly following the legend could lead to the same, so I will follow the instructions given by Regan's Spirit."

"Good luck convincing the Council to do that, Dad," Regan quipped.

"I believe that I know who exactly to call on if they resist my advice," Chief Silverhawk grinned as he looked at Dylan.

"Sounds like fun!" Dylan smirked. "If they don't listen to me, I know who I can call that'll really mess up their perception of Reality!"

"I'm in!" Pablito quipped as he appeared with a ten-year-old boy at his side. "Davie's gonna be back shortly; he's delivering four parents to their Final Judgement! Two had heart attacks when he appeared with a baseball bat and threatened to use them for batting practice! It was fucking AWESOME! Tarak? Before I helped Davie scare the shit outta his other two, I held a trial on what I found, and sentenced your former caregivers to life on a Class Three Prison Planet. Due to their crimes, I doubt they last long; it was good that you left when you did."

"What is my path now, Guardian Spirit? Tarak asked meekly.

"You have already found it and grabbed it," Pablito replied. "You are the key that is bringing those needed for the future together in your family. Just be yourself and enjoy the bond with Regan; no matter how big your family becomes, you will always be the very first brother, the one he added without asking anyone for permission."

"That means you're MY special little brother," Regan smiled. "I won't love our other brothers less than you, but there's gonna be things that are just between you and me."

"He's a keeper!" Pablito grinned, "Don't let him run away, Tarak; most kids his age just tilt their head and drool while they stare at the floor when I explain stuff!"

"I'm probably going to regret asking," Andrei quipped, "but why didn't all six just get sent to Judgement?"

Pablito nodded, "Good question. I was Told to give Davie's remaining two one chance at remorse by placing them in an environment where they are likely to be victims of the various crimes they committed. When they reach Judgement, their responses will be taken into consideration. Since Hades has more levels than people know of, it's basically giving them a shot at moving up a couple; historically, how they've spent their lives so far is pretty much an automatic ticket South."

"You need more time with Sammy and the Terrors; that actually made sense!" Andrei snickered. "Thanks, Pab; I think you giving that answer's what a few guys here needed to know."

"Hey Pabs? What were you doing while Davie played ball?" Dylan grinned.

"Eating popcorn and daring Davie to hit home runs with their heads," Pablito replied as his halo made an appearance. "It might have helped some when Kuan-Ti joined us and challenged Davie to a competition!"

"I miss all the fun!" Dylan pouted.

"You're weird, Dilly," Andrei stated as he shook his head. "Pabs, is this Simon?"

"Damn, you're good!" Pablito smirked, taking the hint. "Simon, you know Tarak, the teen next to him is his new brother Regan, and the big guy is their Dad, Chief Silverhawk of the Navajo Nation. The smartass redhead is Andrei, he's the one who called us in to help you. He's already got everyone's okay to add you to the family, so get over there and hug your brothers and new Dad."

Reading the lost look on Simon's face, Andrei added, "Our favorite potty mouth Angel is right; since you are related to Tarak, they got asked first, and they accepted immediately. You're safe, and from what Saint Potty-Mouth said, your boyfriend's probably gonna be here shortly."

"C'mon, it's kewl, Sim," Tarak prodded. "Liking guys is okay here; Regan's got FOUR boyfriends!"

Regan giggled. "Welcome home, Simon." As Simon got close enough, Regan pulled him in to join the cuddle with Tarak. "Tarak's the one who made it so that you could be here," Regan said softly. "The Great Spirit has led you to become our brother, you're now part of a family larger than the Apache and Navajo Nations combined. While I don't personally totally understand how what was done to you made you feel, I know at least two other people who do, and I promise we'll all work to help you become a survivor."

Simon gave Regan a disbelieving look, but didn't respond.

"One of my boyfriends has suffered similar as what you did," Regan explained. "I have heard that the doctor that just saved his life has as well. You are not alone; if Tarak and I don't understand something, we'll find out who does so that you are not scared or ashamed from something that you could not control."

Sensing that Regan could use the help, Andrei joined them. "Simon? You'll understand more when we have the next Clan meeting for our Division. I'll just say I know two guys who were used by adults like you were, from the time they were in diapers until we recently rescued them. They have been accepted by all of us in the AI Annex, just like you're going to be; what has been done to you does not change who you are. Besides, your new Guardian Angel just did an intervention and brought you here. Even though Pablito teaches sailors new cuss words, I promise that he'll never tell you to do anything that isn't in your best interests. How many new words did he teach you when he rescued you?"

The sudden switch of topics shocked Simon out of his funk. "Umm ... Can I just say I'm still counting?"

"That matters ... how many languages did he use?" Andrei grinned.

"I'm not sure; I understood all of them, but I've never heard most of them before!"

Deciding to test if Pablito had been sneaky, Andrei stated in Russian, with a Cajun accent, "Your boyfriend is lucky, you're very cute and have a nice butt!"

"Eeep!" Simon squeaked as he demonstrated that, even with his darker skin, he could still turn as red as a tomato when blushing.

Chief Silverhawk chuckled from where he'd been watching. "I believe I'm happy to not have understood what was just said to my new son Simon, Andrei! Pablito, could you please tell your partner-in-crime to hurry up; I believe my middle son might be in need of breathing assistance from his boyfriend shortly."

"Nikiti was just catching up first," Davie grinned as he returned with not only an eleven-year-old redheaded Apache, but also a six-year-old miniature copy of the new boy. "He was worried about Noshi being safe."

"Nikiti," Andrei quipped, "Your boyfriend needs mouth-to-mouth. While you're taking care of him, I'll introduce your little brother to your new Dad, Chief Silverhawk."

"I think you're enjoying this a little too much, Andrei," Chief Silverhawk chuckled. "Nikiti, Tarak requested asylum of the Navajo Nation from his former caregivers. That asylum is extended to Simon, and to you and your brother, as you share a bond with Simon. You will never be forced to go back; you have been accepted into our Nation and are invited to join my family as Tarak and Simon have already done."

The only thing that prevented Nikiti dismissing the whole insane previous hour of his life as a weird dream was the words of Chief Silverhawk; even as an Apache, the Chief's reputation was known to Nikiti, and it was known by all that statements like he just made were taken as law by any who were involved. Even then, Nikiti had to ask, "Chief? Are you really wanting us as family before even knowing us?"

"You were brought to me by one of the Guardians the Great Spirit has provided my family," Chief Silverhawk replied patiently. "I have accepted the honor of guidance for you and your brothers that is offered to me. A Great Change is upon us, and you and Noshi have been chosen to join your new brothers as two of the Chosen Spirits to guide the Change. Also, I would be much more comfortable if addressed as Dad or something similar; you can save the formal address for ceremonies."

Nikiti gave a small smile, taking the hint that the deed was done. "Noshi? Do you want Dad to introduce you to our new brothers while I help Simon?"

"You gonna kissy with tongues again?" Noshi asked as he scrunched up his face.

"Yep!" Nikiti grinned.

"EWW!" Noshi exclaimed, "Daddy! Help! Niki's gonna suck Simon's tongue AGAIN!"

Chief Silverhawk laughed, "Come here, little Noshi; I'll introduce you to the rest of your brothers, and protect you from the 'kissy monsters'!"

Meanwhile:

"Val," Teri asked after appearing with a thin 12-year-old nervous auburn-haired girl, already obviously pregnant, "This is Kristina, she is the one that you were told about."

Val nodded, "Thanks, Aunt Teri." After reaching out to lift Kristina's chin so he could look her in the eyes, Val softly told her, "Kristina? I want you to know it was my decision to make you our sister. The thing that did this to you is on a prison planet now, and won't ever be coming back. Since I'm a member of Clan Short, I was able to legally strip it of any claims of relationship to anyone it ever knew or had a part in creating. I don't want you as our sister because I feel sorry for you. You are my sister because that little guy or gal inside you makes us blood relatives, and I'm gonna be there to help you learn to be a survivor of what was done to you. All of us, as a family, are going to help you give my future niece or nephew the best life that we can."

"My old mom was a nurse, she kept telling me that I had to kill it because I could die because my body's too skinny," Kristina whispered.

"I'm not gonna let that happen," Val assured her. "We're tripping over doctors around here, so I promise that you'll be taken care of."

"How?" Kristina asked.

"Like this," Val grinned. Turning his head, he stated loudly, "Doctor Willy, Doctor Johnny? You have a patient requiring your assistance!"

"They're androids," Val explained as he turned back and saw the look on his new sister's face. "Relax, you just work on getting to know your new family, they'll take care of the medical side for you."

"Wassup, Val?" Willy asked for both of then as him and Johnny arrived, tricorders in hand.

"My new sister was told by her former nurse mother that she would require losing the child she is carrying to survive," Val stated formally. "The loss of either life by any occurrence not directly actioned by God is unacceptable and shall not be allowed."

Willy and Johnny exclaimed quick glances, then wordlessly began scanning Kristina. Once finished, they compared notes over their twinlink, then Johnny addressed Kristina. "Kristina, I'm Dr. Johnny Furst. If you had been required to complete full term without the help of Federation medical procedures, there was a 73 percent chance that your old mother would have been correct. While Federation procedures reduce that chance to less than fifty percent, neither one of us is comfortable with that. Val is aware of the capabilities of one of our partner planets, Archnania. Their procedures drop the chance of anything adverse happening into the low single digits. Once all of the families are settled in, which should be in the next hour, we will transfer there to begin making sure you both make it through just fine."

"When these guys talk like that, they're serious, little sister," Val explained. "He's right, though. I'd feel a lot better if you'd take him up on the offer."

"You mean I have a choice?" Kristina asked warily.

Johnny smiled. "Not only do you have a choice, but you are the only one that can say yes or no. Unless it is an emergency, you decide since it is your body. In emergencies or cases where we determine your life is in danger, only a Clan Short doctor can make those decisions. If your new Mom says to do something, we'll listen to her idea, but we won't do it unless you approve. If you are unable to approve, then we do what is best for you no matter what anyone else says."

"If you don't believe us, ask Andrei; he's the kid over with Regan," Willy added. "We just saved his life. He's an android, and there are program updates that he really should have done. The reason that they haven't been done is that he's scared about anyone messing with his brain. He says no, it isn't an emergency, so we won't do them. Not only that, but if someone tried to force it, we'd put them on trial and they'd end up in prison."

"What if I thought that you were wrong?" Wanda asked, more for Kristina's benefit than anything else.

"For non-androids that are adults, you'd ask Doc Austin to review it," Johnny explained, already aware that Teri had briefed Wanda. "For Clan members, Doc Antonio is the top of the chain. For any android, Dr. Marc Furst has the final word. The big thing is, as Doctors, even our Patriarch can't override us. Cory set it up that way so nobody could try to say that he said to do something. He counts on us to police ourselves; we do that by calling in others when we have to make decisions without patient input."

"Because of that," Willy added, "we're allowed to order procedures that would improve an adult's life if it is necessary for the well-being of the youth who consider them parents. Aunt Wanda, it is highly probable that the side-effects of the improved health of your family will result in greatly increased lifespans. If we determine that is happening, you will be offered a chance to have procedures done that would match you to them. If it is determined that one or more of your kids requires your presence for their own well-being, at that time we would be allowed to order the procedure."

Wanda nodded. "Kristina, that's exactly what Teri told me. The thing with parents is because no matter how old you get chronologically, your brain keeps the physical stage that you are in. So a ten-year-old is going to normally act like a ten-year-old and have the same needs even if he is really thirty. The difference is, he can ACT like he's thirty if he needs to, and he has the knowledge of someone that is thirty; but his natural state is still a ten-year-old."

"Sis, I might not age at all," Val said seriously. "Chance and Doc Antonio hinted that could happen. If so, then I'm gonna need a Mom for a long time, so that's why the Docs can do that."

"Could that happen to me?" Kristina asked.

"Do you want it to happen?" Val asked seriously.

"I don't wanna be my mother," Kristina admitted.

"Mom won't let that happen," Val grinned. "But are you talking about more than just her attitude?"

Kristina nodded. "Yeah; everyone says I look just like her at my age. I don't wanna look like that, she was the nasty kind of fat, not like your ... I mean our Mom. She always stank even after a bath, and her skin was dying on her legs and stuff. She'd get out of breath walking from her bed to her closet."

Wanda gave Kristina a smile to show that she wasn't offended. "You did a good job of explaining the differences between her weight issues and mine, Kristina. It sounds like her's might have been self-inflicted, while mine are because of my genetics. Doc Austin has already talked to me about that, and he thinks that he might have some ideas that could help me. I'm still trying to figure out why he wanted to know if I could swim, though!"

Wanda turned to look as Val began to giggle. "Am I missing something, Val?"

"Can I tell her, Johnny?" Val asked through his giggles.

"Go for it," Johnny smiled.

"You're gonna love this one, Mom!" Val grinned. "You know we just spent a bunch of time on Archnania, right?"

"Yes..." Wanda replied.

Val calmed himself to explain. "Well, part of the reason we were there was so that Tommy's body could start recovering," Val explained. "The whole planet's alive, and some of the organisms in the water we swam in decided that all of us could use some help with stuff that wasn't right in our bodies."

Wanda just nodded, knowing her son was enjoying this.

Grinning, Val continued. "Those organisms kinda moved into our bodies, and now they help fix stuff before we realize it's broke. That's why I might not age, because they're helping my body stay at the best it can be."

"Close enough!" Johnny and Willy said in unison.

Wanda thought it over. "Doctors? If I'm understanding right, the boys basically have an upgraded immune system that actively optimizes their bodies?"

"Yes," Johnny replied. "Even us Androids are affected; they 'upgrade' our biological parts. My guess is that if your current weight is optimal for you, any organs that require changes to work with it would be applied. If you should be a little lighter, they will work you towards that at a rate that wouldn't affect your overall health, then will maintain that new weight. I wouldn't expect to be skinny; we already know that you're genetically built to be cuddly."

Wanda smiled. "What if Doc Austin thinks otherwise?"

"I'll win," Johnny giggled. "I know more than he does about medicine!"

"Besides," Willy added, "Our big brother is Marc!"

"Unfortunately," Doc Austin announced over their commbadges, "they're right. I'm Doc Austin; Nigel had me listening in case Willy and Johnny needed help. They're still learning how to work with adults on medical matters, so I wanted to be ready if they had issues. Like I said, they were right, but not just for the reason they told you. These two are the Assistant Directors of the AI Annex, which gives them the authority to speak as their Directors, the Director of the AI Division, and even the Patriarch himself. On medical issues, they have the authority to speak as me, even though generally I get consulted unless it is urgent. I trust them absolutely, so you can take their word on things despite their physical appearance."

"Should we dunk Nigel or Doc Austin for not warning us?" Willy asked seriously.

"When in doubt ..." Johnny smirked.

"BOTH!" they exclaimed in unison. "STEVIE!"

"Gotcha, bros!" the AI Division's resident AI giggled. "Two dunks coming up!"

"We can ask for dunks here too?" Val grinned.

"Yep," Willy nodded. "Just like with Cam, the base AIs are always watching out for us."

"Behave, Val," Wanda smiled. "Just remember, your brother and sister have the same capabilities!"

Archnania:

"Okay," Chance stated, "I talked to the pond, and it understands about pregnancy."

"That just sounds weird," Kristina giggled nervously.

"It'd be worse if Dylan explained it," Chance grinned. "Think of it this way; the organisms in the water are like little doctors that can get in and see things that our eyes can't. They've been doing that kind of thing for as long as anyone remembers; that's how all of my people stayed healthy before we moved up to being a High race. They've adapted themselves to Alpha Prime humans, so now they help out our guests when they can. We're still finding out how they are helping, but everything's been positive. What I did was make sure they understood that there is a little human growing inside of you. While they don't 'speak' like you or me, we can understand each other due to all of the planet being kinda like one consciousness."

"Does that mean they'll make sure my baby's healthy?" Kristina asked.

"They'll make sure both of you are," Chance explained. "They'll also let me know if there's anything we need to watch out for that they can't handle. This is why Doc Austin wanted you checked here, since we can do things that are not allowed on Alpha Prime. Sometimes, a society isn't ready for things they can't explain with science."

"Even the Vulcans are having to re-learn a few things," Antonio stated as he joined them. "They see the logic, but are still studying the methods."

"You ready for the pre-scan, 'Tonio?" Chance asked.

"Yep," Antonio nodded. "This will just take a few seconds, Kristina; I try to keep track of everything so I can plan ahead."

"Do I have to undress?" Kristina asked nervously.

Chance made sure she could see that he was serious. "Kristina, while you don't need to for the scan, it is recommended when you go in the pond. Before you say anything, you need to know that my race has no boys or girls; we're both at once. Antonio is engaged to a great guy; he's only interested in your body as a medical professional. I'm engaged to a great guy named Ulysses. That's why we're the only two here with you, because we want you to be as comfortable as you can be."

"How can you be both a boy and a girl?" Kristina asked.

"I can show you, if you want," Chance replied. "You'll see it sooner or later anyway, since I swim nude with the guys from Alpha Prime that visit."

"Do you promise not to try anything?" Kristina asked with worry.

"If he tried anything," Antonio stated, "he'd be detained before he can touch you. I can't stop him, but the planet will, and forcing sex is a death sentence here."

"Really?" Kristina asked.

Chance nodded. "My nephew was being molested before we became a High Race; the very first action after the planet was turned was Uncle Quint terminating the abuser. With the extra powers we gained by becoming a High Race, our laws became more severe. While each of us is our own person, we are also a common consciousness. That means all it takes is the thought of breaking a major rule, and the entire planet will respond to prevent it."

"I am curious," Kristina admitted. "If you're both, why does Antonio call you a boy?"

"Since Earth languages don't have a word for someone who is both that isn't taken negatively, it's easiest just to use male terms," Chance explained. "Since we all have a penis sticking out, boy descriptions make sense."

"Oh. okay," Kristina nodded. "Are you going to stay dressed, Antonio?"

"That's up to you," Antonio stated. "Developmentally, both of us are at the same level; so if you've never seen a non-adult naked, it would give you a good comparison. That is totally your choice, though; remember, I fall under the same rules that Chance does." Antonio paused, then softly added, "normally at your age, you would probably want to look, maybe touch, but not much more. You were forced to skip that step; neither one of us is going to let you go past what you should normally experience in a situation like this. Compare, ask questions, and don't be scared to make comments."

"We're giving you a chance at normal with as much safety for you as we can," Chance added. "Sometimes it helps with recovery if you can catch up on what was skipped."

Kristina nodded. "You think that me doing normal stuff for my age might help me forget the butthole?"

"It could, but no promises," Antonio nodded. "Everyone is different, so all we can do is try it. If either of us thinks you're having an issue, we'll stop it instantly and then let you talk about what you were feeling."

"Okay," Kristina nodded. "Could you both go first?"

Chance and Antonio both nodded seriously, then began undressing. Once nude, each of them slowly spun around to allow Kristina to see them completely.

"Are your things supposed to be that little?" Kristina asked before thinking.

Antonio giggled. "Yes; we're younger than you physically. At your age, boys are just starting to grow; so they'll be bigger, but not adult bigger."

"They're not scary when they're little like that," Kristina stated. "How much bigger are boys my age?"

"If you want," Chance offered, realizing they might have hit on something, "My cousin Tuone is physically the equivalent of a twelve-year-old human in his body development, both the male and female parts, with the exception of breasts. We have ours inside our body. I can ask him to come over, and you can see how it affects you with someone your own age."

"We'll still be here to protect you," Antonio added. "Plus, unlike us, Tuone doesn't have someone that he's in a relationship with, so there's no chance that something you need to try interferes with our personal relationships."

"That makes sense," Kristina nodded. "If you trust him, I'll try it."

Chance tapped his commbadge. "Hey Tuone, you doing anything besides chasing trees?"

"Actually, I'm just discussing history with a rock!" Tuone giggled in return.

"Would you mind joining us at the Clan pond?" Chance grinned. "We're helping a new Clan member, and I think you might be able to help in ways me and Antonio can't."

"Okay, I'll pop on over," Tuone replied a few seconds before appearing next to Chance. He took one look at Kristina, and before anyone said a word he stated, "You look like you need a hug. Can I give it to you since these two are trying to act like professionals?"

The sudden shock of his statement had the desired effect; Kristina smiled as she nodded. "Chance and Antonio trust you, so go ahead."

Tuone walked over and carefully pulled her into a caring hug. After about a minute, he said "I can tell you're hurting. Since Chance and Antonio are involved, I'm going to guess it is something bad. Can I walk through your memories with you? I can keep them from hurting you, then I'll know what I can do to help you."

"Really?" Kristina risked.

"Yes;" Tuone replied. "You're too beautiful to have that kind of pain. I won't hold what happened to you against you, I promise."

Kristina's head was telling her to run, but something deep inside her told her to trust this new person holding her. Deciding to trust her feelings, she whispered "Go ahead."

Five minutes later, Tuone pulled his head back and gave her a quick kiss on her lips. "I'm coming back with you. You'll never have to worry about anything like that happening again for as long as I live ... and I'm immortal."

"I think I'll like that," Kristina admitted.

"Me too," Tuone replied softly. "You can undress me if you want, that way you can stop if you start feeling nervous."

"I like that idea," Kristina smiled. "But you have to return the favor."

Once both of them were nude, Tuone softly told her "I'm yours to explore however you want to. I'm not going to do anything but stand here while you learn about someone your own age. I'll tell you how it feels if you do more than look."

Kristina nodded, then slowly started exploring. "Your thingie looks a lot nicer than a grown-up's does," she commented as she focused on his midsection. after a few minutes of exploration, she unconsciously tried oral stimulation of Tuone's girl parts like had been done to her; the difference being that both of them consented to the interaction. After making the rounds, she looked into Tuone's eyes and asked "Can I feel it in me? I want to know what it should have felt like."

"Go ahead," Tuone replied. "I'll lay on the ground. You control it, though; this is all for you."

For the next ten minutes, the pair had their first experiences of actual lovemaking. After a mutual climax, they just laid on the ground, holding each other, letting their bodies and emotions slowly adjust to what they had just done. As they finally recovered, Tuone softly stated "When the baby is born, I'd like to be his or her Daddy, if you'll let me."

"Will you marry me?" Kristina asked with a smile. "You make me feel like I want to be like this forever; when I hold you I forget everything."

Tuone returned the smile. "Yes, I'll marry you; you make all of me feel like it's glowing, not just my body."

For the first time in her life, Kristina initiated an intimate kiss. When the kiss finally broke, the pair realized that neither of them had heard a word from the other two boys, so they looked around, only to find them playing UNO on a nearby rock.

"Well, it IS better than them watching us," Tuone quipped. "They probably wouldn't have learned anything, they're both attracted to males!"

"I heard that, twerp!" Antonio quipped as he put down his cards. "We call it giving people privacy, you should try it sometime!"

"At least I don't make house calls wearing Spiderman undies!" Tuone grinned.

"Yeah, you're still using Sesame Street ones!" Antonio giggled as him and Chance stood up. "How are you feeling, Kristina?"

"Wonderful," Kristina smiled. "Tuone said yes; we're gonna get married someday, and he wants the baby to call him Daddy!"

Antonio and Chance exchanged shocked expressions. "Seriously?"

Tuone pulled Kristina into his side. "Yes; we connected while I was helping her in her head. She's just as beautiful inside as she is outside!"

"You say it and I'm telling Dilly, Chance!" Antonio warned. "Congrats to both of you! This isn't why we called you to help, Tuone, but I'm not going to argue love at first sight!"

"Did you get your pre-swim scan yet?" Tuone wondered.

"I have one, but a second won't hurt," Antonio noted. "I'm pretty sure that there's gonna be hormone balance changes after what you two just did, so I'll play it safe. Besides, I need to get you in the database, Tuone, since I'm sure that you'll be on Earth a lot now!"

"Go for it!" Tuone replied as he one-arm-hugged Kristina.

Antonio did his scans, then re-did the scan on Kristina two more times. After handing the tricorder to Chance so that he could see the findings as well, Antonio stated "Tuone, congratulations. It looks like one of the featherheads might be screwing with shit; those little swimmers that you deposited appear to be making some changes. First, I'm seeing signs of a late-cycle twinning happening; it shouldn't be able to happen this late, but there's going to be two little boys in there shortly. Second, I'm seeing a genetic shift. They're not going to call you Daddy because you asked; they'll call you Daddy because that is who you're gonna be genetically. Most of your dominant genes are stronger than the ones from the male that impregnated her, so they are taking over. Kristina, that means that they're going to be a living reminder of what you and Tuone just did, not of what was done to you by that asshole on Earth."

"I just updated the pond," Chance giggled, "It's confused too!"

Tuone grinned. "Okay, let's go swimming, Krissy. I'll help guide you through what the pond needs you to do while those two try to figure out what our Guardian Angels did this time. 'Tonio? I'll let you know if there's any special instructions passed back."

"Thanks!" Antonio replied as he re-joined Chance to review the scans in detail.
